Recreation Memberships

Recreation PARKING permits are issued to individuals who pay to use athletic facilities on the North and South Campus.

Recreation members must first acquire their recreation membership and then complete the Recreation Parking Permit Form.

Effective 3/5/22, UB has made masks optional for all individuals on campus regardless of vaccination status.

Graduate Student Semester Membership

Beginning June 1, 2021, Graduate Students will need to purchase a recreation permit in order to use the recreation facilities at both Alumni Arena and Clark Hall.


Valid one (1) semester.

FAll 2024 Semester membership expires 1/3/2025.

You must be registered for classes for the fall 2024 semester to purchase this membership.


There are 3 semesters in a year: Fall, Spring & Summer.

Please note: the charge for your membership will show on your bank statement as "UB Marketplace".

Replacement Recreation Permit Fee

There is a $10.00 fee to have a new recreation permit card printed.



We are not able to replace UB issued ID cards. We can only replace Recreation ID cards with person numbers that begin with "77". If you are a current undergrad or grad student, you must contact the Card Office for your UB ID card replacement.


Please allow 2-3 weeks for your replacement recreation permit to be processed. You will receive an email when it can be picked up.
